Some people log in to raid. I log in to check the auction house, see who panic-listed their cloth overnight, and figure out what the next wave of alts will need before they know it themselves. This site is where I write that down.

How the guides are made

I watch a lot of gold-making videos so you don't have to, test what holds up, and write my own take with the numbers attached. When a guide builds on someone's video, it's credited at the bottom of the page. The opinions, and the mistakes, are mine.

Where the numbers come from

Item data, tooltips, recipes and vendor prices come from the game files. Auction house prices are tracked per market: region, ruleset and faction, because a Horde PvP auction house and an Alliance Normal one are different worlds. Anything we don't know yet is listed on the data gaps page instead of being guessed.

What we won't do

We don't sell gold, boosts or accounts, and we don't take ads or sponsorships from anyone who does. Buying gold gets accounts banned and wrecks the market for everyone who earns theirs.
