First Aid in WoW Forever: leveling route and where the gold is

First Aid in Forever makes healing potions, poultices and camp kits, not just bandages. It's the cheapest profession to level and suddenly one of the more interesting ones to sell from.

First Aid used to be a box you ticked. In Forever it's quietly become a real trade. On top of bandages, the game data gives it healing potions, poultices, tourniquets and anti-venoms, plus three camp pieces.

It's still the cheapest profession to level: the whole route is cloth. That makes it the best one to level for profit first, before your main professions cost you anything.

What's new in Forever

17 of the 32 recipes are new. Six are healing potions, from Minor up to Major. Alchemy's own potion line in the data is the new Discolored set, so the two lines look deliberately split. If that's how launch works, First Aiders make the potions everyone already knows.

There are eight new curatives: poultices, tourniquets that cure bleeds, and stronger anti-venoms. Then the camp line: a First Aid Kit at 17 (a group Stamina buff), a Toxin Study at 137 that holds healing potions and anti-venom, and a Plague Doctor's Laboratory at 300.

Shopping list

Five cloths, and that's it. You'll pick up most of this while leveling. Runecloth is the only part that costs real money.

Skill route

Bandages all the way: linen, wool, silk, mageweave, runecloth. The data has nothing between 180 and 195. The Mageweave Bandage covers it in practice, but we can't confirm its numbers yet.

Making gold while you level

Bandages sell while you level. See Linen to Bandages for the launch-week version of this.

The potions are the bigger story. If First Aid really makes the classic healing potions, they're cheap to make and everyone buys them. Watch the price in launch week before you craft in bulk, because every First Aider will have the same idea.

Tourniquets and poultices are niche but steady. Bleed and poison cures sell to dungeon groups and hardcore players, who don't take chances.
